Crashes

Dont think its made to work with the new update. Crashes right away.

New update crashes immediately!

New version of app wont start at all, with no fix for several days now.

Love the Update!!! :)

It crashed after I first installed it, and so I deleted it and figured maybe it was just an issue with my iphone. So I re-downloaded it & its worked perfect so far. I love the easy way they added emailing my daily progress. After a days workout I can just touch the email button & all the categories are detailed and ready, so I can email and then print it out at home. Also anyone wondering, Apple doesnt charge us over if weve already purchased an App, so downloading this app again was Free. Looking forward to more updates!!!

Great Update!!!

Ive been waiting for this app to update. Its better than I expected. Its really nice to see my progress all on one screen. And now I can back it all up too.

Crash fix

This also crashed on me but if you delete and reinstall seems to fix the problem

Good but I have some requests

I really like the set up of this app. Its visually pleasing & the update really made adding exercises quicker & easier. It works really well for me but there are a few things I would like to see added/changed. I agree w/ a review already out there that the weights should be able to be any amount. For example I like to use 8lb weights & I cant enter that in I have to just put 10lbs & remember I meant 8lbs. Also I think there should be a main area for notes. I like to take quick notes when Im done, not go into each section to have to make notes. And most importantly, I like to do my abs on cardio day BUT you have to put it in as "lower or upper body" because abs isnt an option on the "cardio" tab. Oh and also there isnt a note section in the cardio tab, so on cardio day I cant make notes either. If these were changed this app would be 5 stars to me. But thanks for updating it & making it better so far!

Perfect for Body for Life

I love this app because its great to plug in the exact workouts and reps and weight that looks just like the BFL program. I had to searched for an app like this but have to share it its awesome! I wish there was a way to enter in everything online and sync the the app. Besides that love it

Wow!!!

I love this app! Its so simple and easy to use its amazing. It makes keeping track of my workouts easy with its e-mail feature. Runs smooth, Great Job!

Too Bad

I was so happy something would work with BFL, but this is a fail. Its clunky, and not user friendly. It doesnt even take advantage of basic iPhone tools like the scrolling dials, but rather has you increase or decrease weight for example, with really tiny plus or minus buttons... The whole thing is just silly. No/ this is not a great workout planner translated to an app. You will be clicking around like an idiot at the gym. Get a piece of paper and pencil.

Garbage

Writing notes is key to BFL and this app does not allow for that. Yes, it has a notes feature, but it is next to useless. It is very glitchy, and next to impossible to use. You cant scroll in the edit window so half the time you wind up having to back delete your notes and rewrite them all over again which is a lot of fun in a gym environment in the middle of your workout. This software should not have been allowed by Apple, its next to useless and not worth 99 cents.

Simple

I like it. Improvements that I would like: plan/actuals, meal plan/actuals, goal charts, inspirational/motivational quotes & pics, page for your before/progression/after pics, recipes, shopping list that coordinates w/ your meal plan, water tracker, pics of exercises, pre-made workouts, wildcard work outs, virtual coach that encourages you.

Please fix this app

Its such a great idea and could be very useful. Looks like it hasnt been updated in over a year. I am sure it was a pet project from an app developer that was doing BFL. I hope they see the possibilities and fix it up.

It could be better

I really enjoy this app, however, I feel that there are a few changes that would make it much more enjoyable. For instance, I dont like that the amount of weight only goes up by increments of five, as I sometimes go up by 2.5 pounds. The cardio section really should have a place to put what machine I used, instead of just "cardio". I would really be happy if it was a lot easier to edit my weight workout at the gym, while I am doing it, currently, this is near impossible.

No exercises inserted into program.

If they would have example days of upper body, lower body and cardio. Also workout examples for individuals with back fusions wanting to strengthen core. I did this program in my early 20s and it work great. Tremendous gains, tremendous cardio and all around great shape. Just feel this app is worthless compared to the book for your local book store.

Suggested improvements

Hello I just purchased this 12 weeks app for my iPhone. I have a few suggestion to improve the app. First of all, the user should be able to capture a baseline. Allow the user to take before and after photos. Next allow for body weight, height, sex, and individual measurements. Lastly offer the user a way to count calories and plan meals using a database of healthy food options. Offer coaching or links to certified dietitians. Thanks for listening!

More updates

For women, we need to be able to use lower weights & increase in smaller increments than 5 lb. for example, I use 8 lb or 4 lb on lots of exercises. Please let us select weight of our choice! Also, keeps crashing on iPhone 5.
